Documentation before starting the installation or deployment of any of these.
There are 3 different precompiled versions:
1. Automated installer for Windows (openXdata-Install.exe). Includes an automated setup of Apache Tomcat,
MySQL and all required openXdata components.
2. Automated update installer (openXdata-Update.exe), to allow for automated update of an already installed version of the above.
3. Web application (openxdata.war) for manual installation of e.g. Tomcat/Jetty or other application servers. See instructions forn

openXdata Mobile
There are 2 versions of the openXdata Mobile, please consult
openXdata Mobile Documentation for installation, usage and details on the differences. They both run on Java (
J2ME ) enabled mobile phones.
- openXdata Mobile LE - Lite Edition. This version works on the lowest end J2ME phones.
- openXdata Mobile SE - Standard Edition. This version includes additional functionality e.g. sending of data as SMS instead of GPRS.

This is a version for

JavaROSA is a mobile client that runs on
J2ME enabled mobile phones, and is developed through the
OpenROSA collaboration. openXdata has a service to allow
JavaROSA based clients to connect and synchronize data.
